I’ve been toying with the idea of writing music for many years now. I tried it nearly 20 years ago, directly wiring up my amp to my desktop computer using software called Mixcraft. It was version 3 at the time, I think.

It didn’t really pan out. I just stuck to recording guitar covers, with a few original recordings here and there, but nothing substantial.

Over the last year, I’ve really challenged myself to learn the software and invest in myself to help me enjoy the process of making music. I’ve had a domain - hauntedlogic.com for the better part of a decade. I just liked the name, but didn’t know what to use it for. Now I do.

With that, here’s the first song I’ve ever written. It’s not perfect, but it was a lot of fun, and I feel pretty happy for sticking with it.
