I just keep moving
Moving blogging platforms, that is. I've been, and still am, a supporter of static site generators. You have so much control, and you can completely geek out with writing custom handlers and plugins.
Originally (10 years ago), I started this as a Jekyll blog, then WordPress, then Ghost, then Craft CMS, then Hugo, then Eleventy... and now we're back to Ghost.
There's a lot to like over here, but the main thing for me was the ease of publishing. I got jaded about jumping into the code and dealing with multiple integrations. I wanted an all-in-one deal, and Ghost provides plenty of bells and whistles should I want to expand. I'll likely write my own theme at some point in the future. I say that now, but check in with me in a year.
Overall, though, I'm really happy with this decision, and it will also help me be more active on here.
